Can you identify them, from 1 to 21?

Answers on a postcard, (or in a comment is probably easier.) Mark will be appearing later to identify the brushes, and explain their uses. Something old, something new…

Video interview with Mark Nash, Master kitchen painter

It is recommended that you listen to the video with the above image of the brushes in view, so you can follow the conversation. It was recorded over Skype, so apologies for the less-than-BBC quality, but Mark is on good form!

Thanks Mark, I learnt a thing or two, I hope reading and listening, you picked up some good tips too.)

Hi Andy, I am an avid reader of your website, it is a mine of useful info! Please can you tell me whether the sanderson oil based eggshell is any good? I have used little greene on your recommendation with great results but there is a colour I really like in the sanderson range.
    thanks

Glad you are finding the good bits.

My understanding is that Sanderson paint is made by the same guys behind Little Greene and furthermore, is highly recommended by Patrick Baty who knows paint better than I do. I am sure he said his own kitchen is Sanderson painted. He can also mix and supply it too.

It is interesting what you say that the colours you are after are not in the LG range. Ingrid at Lilou Interiors compiles a lot of schemes mixing and matching the LG, Fired Earth, Zoffany, Paint Library colours. Reason being, they are all from the same high quality paint stable, but carry slightly different colour ranges.

Any more questions, please send them along.

    regards Andy
