Why is Mirka a recommended supplier?
Decorating is all in the preparation. Mirka have been a long-time recommended supplier because as far as I am concerned, their Abranet abrasive and dust-less sanding system has cracked the oldest nut in decorating.
Over the past 3 years, I have been quite relentless in telling readers about Mirka Abranet, and more recently, CEROS, outlining the many pros and very few cons to a system that allows a fundamental new approach to preparing kitchen cabinets for painting, and redecorating big old period properties…
And to their credit, Mirka have ploughed on, continuing to build on a brilliant formula to drive Abranet and the decorating trade forward in leaps and bounds. I have been told by many professionals and public alike that they trust the information they read on this site. I appreciate that. The reach of Traditional Painter is growing, but I promise the brief stays the same – to offer an online centre of decorating excellence for homeowners, trade and DIY looking for the best decorating services and products and insightful tips. I can assure you that the content and the philosophy behind what we publish on the site will not change.
There are currently a dozen top kitchen painting specialists associated with the site, all who have free rein to write reviews and introduce topics as they see fit. We have no agenda beyond telling folks out there what works well, what doesn’t work well, and giving different ideas on how to get the best end results.
It just so happens that the only products we recommend, or wish to be associated with, are proven to our satisfaction, to work rather well over a sustained period of time. Our livelihood is high end decorating, so we need proven products and systems. If proven products stop delivering, we will be the first to say so!
