Kitchen painters and decorators online

Listed under Blog, hand-painted kitchen, Marketing Posted Nov 17 2011

Most painters and decorators go through the motions of their job and when 5 o’clock comes, they switch off and that’s it till tomorrow. No interest in what’s going on in different areas of the trade, no clue what is happening in the US world of painting, or on sites in Scandinavia. Not everyone in the painting and decorating world is tarred with the same brush though.

The good guys and gals in the trade are genuinely interested in decorating! They are constantly on the look out for new products, new ways of doing things, new ways of raising standards – and apart from being passionate about painting, they are wise “old” birds, ask questions, are good fun, and also very generous with their time and advice.

So far, I have met about a dozen outstanding kitchen painting specialists around the UK who speak this language. And it was very exciting when most were willing to go on a referral page I set up, a sort of mini kitchen painter “register” where homeowners who come to my site looking for a good painter to upgrade their kitchen can find someone more local to them than Andy in Cheshire!

This idea has since developed and soon there will be a proper site dedicated to promoting their skills. They are technically superb, but most importantly, they are good people, and aim to do right by their customers and their peers. It is very reassuring to be a part of that group, because, before the internet, it could often be a lonely and frustrating place, professionally!

If you paint kitchens and you share the above mindset, why not come and get to know us first at the following places.
