How to paint fitted furniture

Listed under Blog, hand-painted furniture, hand-painted kitchen Posted Oct 22 2011

This is all you need to know to prepare and paint fitted furniture laminate doors

This is how to prepare clear lacquered wood for painting (oak pine etc) and here too.

Once prepped you can choose any of the processes described here (Please note Dulux Supergrip requires an oil paint on top. Most other high performance primers accept oil or water-based paint. If using Farrow and Ball Estate eggshell, you must use the F&B primer-undercoat on top of the high performance primer. (Don’t ask me, ask them why!)

This is the decorating kit I use when doing this sort of work

hope that helps

cheers
