About Me
After leaving school at 16, I followed in my father’s footsteps to become a professional Painter & Decorator. My father, Traditional Painter specialist Paul C. Barber, has been at the top of his profession for more than 40 years, and I was fortunate to be trained by him to the same exacting standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
I attended Moulton College in Northamptonshire, where I completed my NVQ Level 2 qualification before joining the family business full-time.
For over 18 years I have specialised in hand-painted kitchens and fitted furniture across the Midlands and surrounding counties. During that time I have hand-painted hundreds of bespoke kitchens for leading manufacturers including Smallbone, Mark Wilkinson, Harvey Jones, Nicholas Bell and Christchurch Kitchens Direct, as well as transforming existing oak, pine and maple kitchens with durable, factory-quality hand-painted finishes.
Every project is approached with the same care and precision, whether it’s a brand-new bespoke kitchen or the complete refurbishment of a much-loved family kitchen. My aim is always to deliver a flawless finish that will look beautiful for many years to come.
If you would like to discuss your kitchen or furniture project, or arrange a free, no-obligation quotation, I’d be delighted to hear from you.

Paul was a pleasure to have in the house and nothing was too much trouble. He worked so hard on achieving a flawless result on our rather battered cupboards!I would definitely recommend him to anyone thinking of having...”
