Hand painted kitchen in Bournville Birmingham

Listed under Blog, hand-painted kitchen, Martin Guest Posted Sep 28 2012

Martin Guest, traditional painter covering Birmingham and Worcestershire shows us this James Mayor Furniture hand painted kitchen in Bournville. Made from MDF, it is practical and extremely functional, having been treated to a Farrow & Ball Exterior Eggshell finish; durable, hard-wearing and looking very stylish in two colour livery.

The main feature was a stand-alone larder cupboard accented in a “Ball Green”, to contrast against the “Pointing”.

The kitchen is now used as a showpiece for the James Mayor Furniture company – providing a “live” example of just how good a bespoke, hand-painted kitchen, really can be.
