Emmas Door painted kitchen in Tunbridge Wells
Last year you may remember Traditional Painter, Emma Brown, worked her magic on the Emma’s Door painted kitchen in Tunbridge Wells. The over all refurbishment work carried out on the detached 1950’s house attracted some press interest, and here is the kitchen featured one year on, in 25 Beautiful Homes magazine.

This was a sizeable section of the bespoke kitchen before anyone started work!
There were up to 17 tradespeople involved, but when everyone went home, Emma was left to make the old kitchen blend in exactly with the new installation.
With her toolkit, primers and a tin of Emma’s Door Tikkurila Feelings Furniture kitchen paint, she met her brief with flying custom colours (Emma’s Door was mixed by Holman Paints, matched to a pre-finished door from the new island. That worked!)
This is adownloadable PDF of the full magazine article about the refurbishment of the 5 bedroom house in Tunbridge Wells. There is quite a bit of painted furniture and pointers for sourcing the suppliers, if you see anything that takes your fancy.

This is the full account from Emma’s perspective. If you are in the Kent area and have any questions about this sort of project, Emma is well placed to advise you.
