Apprentice Corner has two purposes:
1) help students without an employer to find one
2) showcase the work of apprentices / students of all levels.
Level 1 and 2 P&D students without an employer
If you are going through college but have no employer, writing blogs is a great way to reach potential employers and explain to them about the work and projects you have completed as part of your coursework and training.
The format is simple: Explain the brief; what you did and the materials you used; share what you learned, what you won’t do again; add some photos. That’s it, you just blogged! We will do the rest.
We will publish your articles and they will get read by a lot of potential employers.
Employers looking for Level 1, 2, 3 & 4 P&D students
If you are one of the many tradesmen visiting this site every month, read the blogs for a good insight into what students or apprentices in your area are capable of doing. Those that make the effort to blog, should make prime candidates for a work placement or apprenticeship spot.
Level 1, 2, 3 & 4 painting & decorating students with an employer
Traditional Painter will showcase apprentices’ work and projects.
You are also the painters and decorators and masters of the future. Show everyone what is coming down the line.
Traditional Painter is online home to 20 of the country's best independent kitchen & furniture painting specialists.
If you would like to employ the services of your local recommended TP kitchen & furniture painter, please use the map widget below.
If the info we have shared in TP blog articles has given you the confidence to paint kitchen cabinets and furniture yourself, that is great. And in general, we hope that all homeowners, DIY and trade can take away & use our ideas for decorating better, faster or cleaner than the accepted norm.
